Fulltime (38.75 hrs)


This position is part of our United Kingdom team. It is a mix of working from our office located in Annesley, Nottinghamshire and visiting customers both alone or in conjunction with our Area Sales Managers.

We are looking for an application engineer, who wants to develop into a technical specialist in the Power Transmission field and who is looking for a variety of work at the office (inside) and visit our customers (both online and on site). You have experience with project management and providing customer service in a technical environment. With your technical affinity and customer-focused mindset, you build a bridge between the sales representatives and the end-users of our chain products. You can do this by understanding technical specifications of our products as well as the applications where the products are integrated.

Preferably, you have several years of experience in a technical environment, like power transmission and have experience with customer interaction.

For this position we require:

  • HNC/HND in Engineering or a degree in Engineering is desirable
  • relevant experience in both a technical environment and customer service environment
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • commercial understanding of product cost, gross margins and selling price relationships
  • ability to make basic machine drawings with tools like AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus
  • IT - ERP and CRM experience, good MS excel/word/PowerPoint/Teams
  • high level of attention to detail
  • excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • analytical approach with a strategic mindset
